Topics

The Faculty Development Course offers instruction in cutting edge topics such as the use of technology in the classroom and new and proven methods in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Both of these subjects are dynamic and constantly being updated to provide educators with the tools they need TODAY to make the difference with their students TOMORROW.

This makes the annual program relevant every summer as the information is constantly being revised and updated.

Course Guidelines

The course is in line with ACTFL guidelines national standards in the 5 C’s – Communication, Culture, Connections, Comparisons, Communities –which are the widely accepted standards for determining the “what” of the teaching of foreign languages.

In this way Travel & Education is an organization that is committed to our partnering institutions for the advancement of their own programs by imparting knowledge in our field of expertise.

Earn Credits

In addition, this course offers teachers the opportunity to earn university credits from a U.S. based university that could count towards teachers’ continuing education requirements.

Travel & Education is an organization dedicated to education and academics. This is represented at the highest level of management with owners and managers originating from academia as professors and administrators both in Spain and in the U.S. Our staff in both countries is also recruited based on their involvement and inside knowledge of academic affairs both as professors and administrators.
